Seems strange that Ranger and Triton are now owned by the same company. I think the sale of BASS is going to be pretty interesting....I agree there are a lot of changes coming.

Now the same guys own Ranger, Triton, Stratos and Champion (which is now a upper end model for a Stratos). What's left? Nitro and then the smaller guys, Phoenix, Legend, Basscat

Bentz staying on 7/29/2010
As follow-up to today's announced sale of Triton Boats, Fishing Holdings issued a separate announcement that Triton founder and president Earl Bentz will stay on to oversee the brand.
"Triton founder Earl Bentz will join Fishing Holdings and resume his role at the helm of Triton Boats," the announcement said. "Additionally, several key members of Triton's executive management and sales-representative group will remain onboard the Triton team and will continue to lead the brand from their Tennessee office."
Bentz stated: "This move creates an exciting opportunity to reenergize the Triton brand. As we move ahead we'll look to our roots and to our dedication to the fishing community on which the Triton brand was founded. I've been working closely with many Triton dealers since I started the company. I look forward to continuing that collaboration with our dealer base and to serving our loyal customers into the future."
Fishing Holdings president Randy Hopper noted: "We're extremely pleased to have Earl and his senior management team join our organization. The acquisition will allow us to leverage our world-class manufacturing operations and further strengthen our unwavering commitment to fishing, boating families and competitive tournament angling."
> Fishing Holdings is an affiliate of Platinum Equity and its Project Boat Holdings division. Fishing Holdings oversees Platinum's bass-boat brands.

Depends on what all happens with Rangers and Tritons (RATS) under the same roof now. Like we where talking at the ramp yesterday, I could see a BassCat in my future, especially one like this blue one...

That boat is a Gaycraft.
From Wikipedia - The color lavender shown above as dark lavender represents bisexuality since it is one of the three colors in the Bisexual pride flag, invented in 1998. This shade of dark lavender is a combination of a deep blue (representing men) and a deep magenta similar to shocking pink (representing women). (To see the exact colors in the Bisexual Pride Flag, go to the Wikipedia article link shown above). |

At your age I would think the color blue would be important. |

I'm assuming nothing changes with warranties with a new ownership. I know sometimes during these mergers, all of the perks and warranties aren't continued by the new owners.
