Looks like I've hooked a big ol carp on a 6000 mile longline from USCENTCOM!
Cheese ...Do you have a copy of the technical bulletin or recall notice that shows which serial numbers the leakage problem is confined to?!?...Most responsible companies would publish such a notice...On one of the forums NAVICO users are still having the problem, and they are resorting to "leak testing" their units so they can be replaced before they are left high and dry without warranty replacement.
If you would like, Ferris and I can leak test your new units so that warranty replacement can be arranged and expedited before you get back. I was thinking about offering Ferris a LOW-MEX Promotional Staff gig anyway.

It's like everything else. People that feel they need to prove there inadequacies by downing superior products. Hey if it makes you feel better I'll listen to the BS. Everyone remember.....this is coming from the same guy that floods Churches Chicken with nasty grams because they ran out of Spicy Chicken a time or two.

Shhhh Fred.... maybe no will will figure that out. Plus Eagle's parts are made in China so it would not be part of Low-Mex's customer support plan. It would fall under Low-Chi, LLC.
Just like the big boys... taking one company's ideas and passing them off as my own.

Well Cheese, i was going to sit and just watch this post go by until i saw the comment about there being so many Mercs out there and that was the reason there are so many problems because they out number everyone else 2 to 1. Say what you want about the Mercs but there is a serious problem when a motor manufacturer buys out every boat brand it can and makes the boat company put Mercs on and nothing else! If Mercury bought out every bassboat company there was i would be fishing out of a canoe! OH AND BUY THE WAY GO HUMMINBIRD! |

Last time I checked you can put damn near what ever motor you want on a boat as long as the dealer deals that motor. Maybe you forgot the big Ranger/Yamaha push from the early 90's. Or when Triton was pushing Evinrude back when Earl Bentz first introduced Triton. All in all thanks for your input on something that was posted over a week ago
