I called a friend of mine at Marshalls and told him they're doing a terrible job of advertising the Expo if they actually want people to come. I told him most of the guys I fish with hadn't even heard about it. They decided not to do a mailout and are relying primarily on word of mouth. He didn't even know (until I told him) that they didn't have it on their website yet.
That's a shame because they're actually going to have some great guests, lots of vendors and a fish fry. Guests this year include Hank Parker, Shaw Grigsby, Cale Yarbrough, Randy Howell, Casey Ashley, Guy Akers, Earl Bentz and Forrest Wood. They're supposed to have this on their website within the next couple of days.
The Expo will be held January 15/16. Of course, not all these guys will be there at the same time, so that's why they need to get the schedule up as soon as possible.

I'd like to meet Hank Parker. He seems like a very down to earth guy. Loved his fishing shows back in the day.

Looking to buy a new bass boat. Finally getting settled in. Marshall's Marine seems to be the only bass boat dealer around,Thought there would be more around here with the lakes and river. I'm going to be up there Friday.

Sweeper, Supplyguy has a TR-196 for sale in the "Boats For Sale" forum. It was my boat at one time.

I will vouch for it. A really good boat that has been taken great care of. Both owners are anal retentive about their boats. Not a dig Ferris or Andy just know how well it has been taken care of

I saw that one, great looking boat. Not in the market for a beginners boat, need something bigger. Sold a 2007 Z520 before I left Chicago last year. I'm going to look at the 09 and 10 520's at Marshal's Marine this weekend. Have any of you guy's heard anything about the new 4 stroke VMAX. Always had Mercs but thinking about trying the new Yamaha's. I've gotten a couple of IM's from some of you. For some reason I'm not able to reply to them. As soon I figure out the problem I'll reply.

They had a Ranger at the Raleigh Boat Show this weekend with one on it and a price tag around 70,000.00, I am sorry it might suppose to be a bad azz motor but that is way to much money for a bass boat.

Marshall's has treated me good. Other than the drive great to deal with. Berkley Outdoors has just opened up also but I don't now if Clinton sales any new boats.

Ok, got a few im's and wanted to clear the air. Yes I'm new to the area. Went on the Internet and typed bass fishing forums, that's how I found this site. Watched everyone's post and thought it looked pretty cool, I sensed that some of you got offended by the beginners boat comment. NO disrespect intended, I said it was I nice looking rig. You have to understand where I come from 21 and 22 ft bass boats are a norm. My first boat was a 18' Cajun. Didn't mean to cause a rant.
